I would like to invite you to participate in this research project which will evaluate the effectiveness of the Choice Reaction Time Method and its sensitivity to false responding. The task involves viewing a set of images on the computer screen and pressing the space bar as quickly as possible every time a + appears on the computer screen. The task should take no longer than 10-15 minutes. What is required from the participant?You will be required to contribute one testing session of approximately 10 to 15 minutes at one of two research labratories at the University of Auckland (located at the Tamaki and City campuses).
