What do infants know about their social world? You can help us find out!
The Early Learning Lab at the University of Auckland (ELLA) is looking for guardians and their babies aged 0-24 months to participate in our studies in the Department of Psychology. We are interested in finding out more about what babies know about other peoples actions and how babies learn from the people around them.
Our studies involve fun, game-like activities that tell us a bit more about what babies know. Babies might watch videos of people completing various actions (eg, picking up a toy and naming it) or they might be asked to perform their own actions. Either way, we hope that you and your baby will have a great time!
What is required from the participant?
Guardians and their babies are asked to come into the University of Auckland campus for around an hour, however we usually only require your childs attention for 15-25 minutes. We provide free parking for your visit and your child gets to pick out a prize as well as a small supermarket voucher for guardians as a token of our appreciation.
