Effects of an osteopathic technique on pain in a population suffering from tennis elbow

Males aged 18 to 45 who are currently experiencing lateral elbow pain (tennis elbow)

Tennis elbow is the most common diagnosis made in patients with elbow pain and is estimated to affect between 1-3% of the population. Over forty treatment modalities have been described for the condition, currently none have been proven to be superior over the others. This study aims to explore the potential of treating the spine as a way of reducing the levels of pain experienced at the elbow in a symptomatic population.

Questions

I have been diagnosed with tennis elbow in my right elbow recently and I was wondering if I would still be able to partake in this study?
