Before you start

Listing a study is a relatively quick and easy process. If you have the material ready, it shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes. Please note that you cannot save your application half way through. Once you have completed the listing, relevant members of the website will be notified of your study.

  • Use our listing form to help you create your listing content

Do you have appropriate ethical approval?

  • Read our information for ethics page if you are concerned about the ethical implications of Getparticipants
  • Download our listing form (Word 2007) to use with your ethical application or as a document to help you plan your content (more on this below)

Do you know what content you are going to use? (Here are some tips!)

  • Please do not post your contact details on the listing. Interested members can post questions or apply for the study directly on the listing
  • Pictures say a thousand words and give a listing a professional feel
  • Upload information sheets (careful to not include your contact details), and save yourself all those emails and mail-outs
  • Make sure the name of your study listing is very easy to understand. Check out this blog post
  • Make sure you mention the importance of your study. Participants are motivated to help good causes.

What would you like your participants to do after they apply?

  • You can give them a message to read and / or a hyperlink to follow once they have applied
  • Would you like them to complete a questionnaire or two? Let us know if you would like a custom content page (example)
